Logistics and Connectivity

  • Kerala is having four international airports (Trivandrum, Cochin, Kozhikode, Kannur) offering excellent connectivity with the rest of the world. With a fifth airport upcoming in Kottayam, the State offers great connectivity.
  • Further, with two major seaports and 17 mini ports, Kerala offers exceptional connectivity through sea. Vallarpadam International Container Terminal (in Cochin) and Vizhinjam International Container Terminal (near Trivandrum) offer unmatched connectivity.
  • 11 National Highways are passing through the state, and a new 600+ km long 6 Lane National Highway connecting the state from North to South is scheduled for completion in 2025. Additionally, with 625 km of Coastal Highway and 1300+ km of Hill Highway, Kerala offers unmatched rural and urban connectivity.
